Ma te rongo ka mohio, ma te mohio ka marama

ma te marama ka matau, ma te matau ka ora.

Through perception comes awareness, through awareness comes understanding,
through understanding comes knowledge, through knowledge comes wellbeing.

Tēnā koe. Ko Anna Fleming tēnei. He uri ahau no Ngāpuhi, no Ngāti Hine, no Tūhoe.

Kia ora, my name is Anna Fleming. I whakapapa to Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Hine in the north and Tūhoe by Te Urewera.

You may find yourself here because there is a certain issue that has felt difficult or limiting for you. You may just not feel “okay”. Psychotherapy is a place to be able to talk about what has been going on for you in a non-judgmental, supportive space.

In my practice I am guided by indigenous and western models of knowledge and understanding. I believe that this means my practice encompasses many different areas of knowledge, allowing for a flexible and rounded therapeutic approach. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, abuse and relationship issues. I am particularly interested in thinking about identity and how we express this within our daily lives. I look forward to hearing from you.
